Unesco – United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization

The world’s most important body focused on education, UNESCO promotes Peace through intellectual cooperation among nations, keeps track of global developments and helps Member States solve the problems that face our societies. UNESCO has been a source of prestige for us ever since BVSA was launched and has participated on BVSA’s Honorary Board.

UNDP - United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

UNDP is present in more than 170 countries and territories. UNDP in Brazil has the objective of contributing to human development, of combating poverty and of inclusive and sustainable growth in priority areas of the country. Aligning its services to the needs of a dynamic, multifaceted and diverse country is a permanent mission. UNPD has supported BVSA since its launch and is a member of the Honorary Board and Project Selection Committee of BVSA.

Global Compact

The Global Compact is a United Nations (UN) initiative to mobilize the international business community to include in their business practices basic and internationally accepted human rights, labor relations, environmental and anticorruption values, which are reflected in ten principles. B3 was the first Exchange in the world to adhere to the Global Compact, in 2004, and is a member of the Global Compact Brazilian Committee. BVSA was the object of a Case Study by Case Western University, adopted by the UN Global Compact Office, and became a model that then Secretary-General of the UN Kofi Annan recommended for stock exchanges throughout the world.

Cielo S.A.

The leading electronic payments solutions company in Latin America and one of the biggest in the world in its segment. It is present at 1.8 million sales outlets in Brazil. Cielo offers a special rate on donations made by credit card to the projects listed on the BVSA website.


LATAM Airlines has had a partnership with the Socio-Environmental Investment Exchange (BVSA) since the start of 2007. The Company provides air tickets for technical visits to the projects that BVSA supports across Brazil, easing access to the communities being served.

Lojas Americanas and B2W Digital

Lojas Americanas is a company that ranks prominently among Brazil’s major retail chains, with more than 1,000 stores and a presence in every state. B2W Digital is the largest online retailer and growth leader in Latin America, with a     portfolio of four leading brands in different online retail segments (, Submarino,  Shoptime and SouBarato). The two companies entered into partnership in 2015 and 2016, benefiting projects listed on the BVSA website by directing resources from the Brazilian Development Bank’s (BNDES) Corporate Social Investment (ISE) line.
